CS5361 Overview
The CS5361 is a complete audio A/D converter (ADC) for digital audio systems. It performs sampling, A/D conversion and anti-alias filtering, generating 24-bit values for both left and right inputs in serial form at sample rates up to 192 kHz per channel. The CS5361 uses a fifth-order, multi-bit Delta Sigma modulator followed by digital filtering and decimation, which removes the need for an external anti-alias filter. The ADC uses a differential architecture, which provides excellent noise rejection. The CS5361 is ideal for audio systems requiring wide dynamic range, negligible distortion and low noise, such as audio/video receivers, DVD-R, digital mixing consoles, effects processors and automotive systems.

CS5361 A/D Converter Evaluation Board (CDB5361)
The CDB5361 evaluation board provides a quick, complete means of evaluating the CS5361 24-bit stereo A/D converter, needing only an analog signal source and power supplies. An onboard CS8406 transmitter generates S/PDIF and EIAJ-340 audio via RCA and optical connectors.
